My Journey from Nanny to Insurance Agent
I arrived in Canada in 2007 as a nanny, ready to build a new life in a country full of opportunities. For years, I dedicated myself to caring for families, learning about people’s needs, and developing strong connections—qualities that would later shape my career in an unexpected but rewarding way.
In July 2011, someone introduced me to the insurance business. At first, it was a new world, different from what I had known. But I was eager to learn, and after just a month and a half of studying and preparing, I obtained my insurance license. That moment marked the beginning of a new chapter in my life—one where I could help others secure their futures and achieve financial peace of mind.
Since then, my journey as an insurance agent has been one of continuous growth. I’ve learned how to guide families, individuals, and businesses in making informed financial decisions. My experience as a nanny gave me a deep understanding of people’s worries and dreams, allowing me to connect with my clients on a personal level.
From starting as a newcomer to becoming a licensed professional, my journey has been proof that with determination and the right opportunities, anything is possible. Today, I take pride in helping others protect what matters most, just as I once cared for the well-being of the families I worked for.
This is just the beginning, and I’m excited for what the future holds.
